This weekend I went to a DNS Hackathon organized by Internetstiftelsen (the Swedish Internet Foundation). It is part of a collection of events in Stockholm about DNS, called “DNS Week”. I joined a proposal by Johan Stenstam to prototype a reporting channel for multi provider DNS errors using the DSYNC record. We added a new scheme called REPORTER and set up a cli command and a listener in tdns. I was mainly working on the cli command and this was my first time working with the programming language go.
